Received a reassuring phone call the other day.Apparently the reason the BOR was out of sorts was because the main clerk was on vacation. He is back in about a week, and supposedly at that point I can phone and get info on joining instructions, tickets, etc.

Due to repeated advice by several people, I have purchased a CamelBak. My dad then tells me that I should have talked to him a few days ago, before his retirement, because he could have got one in for me. Maybe cheaper. Well, too late now.

hm, see, I was thinking about investing in a CamelBak as well, seeing as how that stupid canteen isn't always the easiest thing to get at whilst one is rucking
FYI, if you prefer to save money, CPGear has a kit to convert your canteen to having a tube on it, sort of like a CamelBak. Its like $21.
