Lest We Forget

I wanted to add some deep meaninful statement in memory of those we just lost, but I'm no good at things like that.

Next year will be even harder because I know ten or twelver or more people who are going over. What happens in 08 when they go over? Do I check the news every day just in case, or do I try not to worry about?

No one should be going to a friend's funeral at my age, but that's part-and-parcel of the job. That's what I signed up for, and its not going to set me off my goals. Self-doubt and fear are the most destructive, debilitating and intimidating forces.

"Control, you must learn control."

I just hope everyone comes back safe.
