"Field" Trip
Another weekend in the field. This is what I have been waiting for. Three garrison weekends to get here. Only three. So why did some people have such a hard time getting it right? BMQ was all garrison, so this should have been easy.I can't say it was one or two individuals. It was everyone at times, but some people more than others.
At least learned some ways of righting things, and picked up some other helpful general hints.
I wish I could bring my GPS, just for fun, but the batteries would probably die pretty quick.

hmmm gps, yeah the batteries probably would die. PICTURES PICTURES PICTURES!!! Please post as soon as possible or I will be tempted to hunt you down for them!!!!
As long as you're smart and turn your gps off when not working it can last for weeks.
This particular GPS is also a PDA and has a particularly short battery life.
It also has two ways of being turned off -one puts it in a standby mode, the other actually powers it down. When doing this, it takes about two or three minutes to boot and it loses the date/time (but nothing).
